General conference volunteering opportunity

Voluntary duties involve (1) Set-up/Tear-down of chairs, tables, a podium, microphones, etc., (2) coat check, (3) greeting guests, (4) audio/video presentation support, (5) other miscellaneous roles, e.g., runner, registration desk, workshop monitoring, etc.

 

An EAMMIS conference volunteer requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours in exchange for free conference registration The volunteer will avail of a complimentary registration that includes all meals and coffee breaks, access to paper sessions, and workshops, when not volunteering, as well as a participation certificate acknowledging the voluntary participation. Reviewer volunteering opportunity

 

​Volunteering reviewers become members of the EAMMIS Technical Committee, for making an academic contribution in their research specialization. A technical Committee supports reviewing activities, i.e., reviewing for EAMMIS passes through a double-blind review process. Technical committee members also get the opportunity to be part of the judging panel for best speaker, best presenter, and best paper awards.
